Holiday Gift Guide #14 Green Toys Inc. Review

I have heard about Green Toys Inc. on other blogs and I have heard great things about their products. So, I was so excited when Green Toys gave me the opportunity to review one of their toys myself.

Green Toys Inc. is a California based toy company that makes classic toys constructed from recycled plastic and other environmentally friendly materials. "Green Toys believe the world would be a much better place if everyone said “please” and “thank you", cell phones didn’t ring during movies, and all toys were fun, safe, and made from environmentally friendly materials. Since it’s probably no use holding our breath for those first two, they’re concentrating on the toys."

Their raw materials and toys aren't shipped from overseas, which saves a lot of energy and reduces greenhouse gasses. It also guarantees your toys won't get seasick before they get to your home! All Green Toys are tested in “nationally recognized, independent, third-party labs”, right in the USA. They contain no trace amounts of BPA or phthalates! o they are also free of any external coatings, so you don’t have to worry about anything chipping off into your cChildren’s mouths!

We had the opportunity to review the Chef Set which included a stock pot with lid, skillet, ladle, and spatula. Tobin loves to pretend to cook and is constantly taking out my pots and pans. I was so excited for him to have his "own" pots and pans set! Tobin was so excited when I took out the Chef Set package, he couldn't wait for me to open it (he was squealing the whole time). After I got it out, he immediately started cooking! I love it because it entertains him for a long time. He gets it out when I cook as well and I'll give him some food like cereal or cheese and he will "cook" them while I cook. It's wonderful because it entertains him the entire time I cook!
I love how sturdy the set was! Tobin is a great test for durability and it passed with flying colors! This is a toy that will last for generations! I love the fact that it is safe for Tobin to play with and it's great for the environment. I plan to get more Green Toys in the future...I think I will get the Dish Set next! These products are much better than the flimsy dish toys you find at the stores.
