Shake N' Bake Review & Giveaway (5 Winners) **CLOSED**

I am sure almost all of you have heard of Shake N' Bake and have probably had it several times in your lifetime. It's a quick and easy meal idea. I grew up with Shake N' Bake...and I hated it. I did not like any kind of fried chicken (and to me this was like fried chicken) and my Mom always used thighs and drumsticks, which I don't like. Once I was married I discovered how easy and inexpensive Shake N' Bake was, so I used it with chicken breasts and I found that I could tolerate it. 

Now Shake N' Bake is a constant companion in my cupboards because Shake N' Bake has many flavors to choose from...and they are yummy! Thanks to Kraft, I had the opportunity to review 2 boxes of the Shake N' Bake Extra Crispy and 2 boxes of the Shake N' Bake Parmesan Crusted. 


The first night we tried the Parmesan Crusted. Shake N' Bake is incredibly easy to use. You just defrost the chicken, put the chicken and the bag of seasoning in the plastic bag that is included, and then you shake! Your kids can even help out with the shaking! I let Tobin shake the chicken and he had so much fun!

 The chicken was very moist and yummy! The parmesan seasoning was a delicious flavor and my Husband has already requested that we have it again this week. On the back of the box there was a recipe for Baked Chicken Parmesan and I plan to try that out once I get the ingredients!

The next night we tried the Extra Crispy and I was a little hesitant since the original kind is not my favorite. I decided to make homemade chicken nuggets. I used a few more chicken breasts than I normally do and I cut them up into big chunks, threw them in the mix, and "shake, shake, shake". I baked them according to directions and paired them with potato rounds and I was amazed. They were so yummy that we ended up with no leftovers! I ate more chicken than I normally do and even Tobin ate every nugget (and I gave him a lot)! I loved it and will be making it often.
