Valentine's Day Event: Enstrom's Candies Almond Toffee Review & Giveaway

When I heard of Enstrom's Candies, I immediately was interested because I LOVE candy! Enstrom's has quite a few yummy treats such as Mini Turtles, chocolate truffles, and even toffee popcorn. What Enstrom's is most known for though, is their Almond Toffee.

Here is their story:

Three generations ago, Chet Enstrom perfected the art of blending the finest natural ingredients to create batches of almond toffee as gifts for family and friends. By 1960, his almond toffee had begun to develop a reputation and, at the urging of family and friends, Chet and his wife, Vernie, founded Enstrom Candies in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Over the years. the business has grown and been passed down from generation to generation. The family still follows the same original recipe for the almond toffee that Chet perfected almost 60 years ago. The family has also created a delectable selection of fine chocolates, which like the toffee, is blended with only the freshest natural ingredients to create luxurious and unique creations that are shipped around the world.
Today, Chet’s granddaughter, Jamee and her husband, Doug Simons, oversee the operation out of Grand Junction and Chet’s grandson Rick, and his wife Linda, manage the Denver stores. This third generation continues to take pride in creating truly exceptional confections and still operates with the philosophy begun by Chet over 60 years ago; that they’re just making a little Almond Toffee for a few of their friends.

I had the opportunity to review Enstrom's Milk Chocolate Almond Toffee. From the moment I spoke with Enstrom's, I was impressed. They were very quick to respond to me and they shipped it so quickly. Once I received the toffee I was very impressed with the packaging. It comes in a beautiful box that is perfect for gift giving. 

I love toffee, but I had never had almond toffee before and I was very excited to try it. I was not disappointed. The toffee is not chewy like some that I have had, instead it is easy to bite and crumbles in your mouth. It has a light layer of chocolate on either side and crushed almonds on top as well as almonds inside the toffee. I loved how it wasn't a real sweet taste, instead it was a delicious nutty flavor with a slightly sweet taste. I have been trying to ration out the toffee each day, but it's slowly dwindling and I will probably have to order more once it's gone, because I love it!
