As a mother of a toddler, I am always on the look out for tasty but healthy snacks for Tobin. Fruits and vegetables are important, but trying to get a finicky toddler to eat them is another story. So, I was thrilled when I found Funky Monkey Snacks.

I was so excited when we had the opportunity to review 1 oz. bags of each flavor. We received the Funky Monkey Snacks while Tobin was sick so I thought I would have to wait until he was better to try them out, boy was I wrong! Tobin immediately wanted me to open the Applemon and after he took a taste he said "Mmmm...good"! He has never said the word "good" before, so they must have been really good! Tobin was determined we had to try them all out right then. I love dried fruit and these were even better. They kind of reminded me of a cross between dried fruit and potato chips. They are crunchy and packed with flavor!

Tobin really liked the Bananamon and Applemon (I think he really liked those because they weren't quite as crunchy as the rest). I really liked the Mango OJ and Pink Pineapple, but they were a little too crunchy for Tobin. I love tropical flavors and I could not stop eating them! I love the fact that in each bag there is 3 servings of fruit! These are not only great for Tobin, but great for me too! With my busy schedule and running after a toddler all day, I barely have time to eat let alone make sure I get my full servings of fruit. Now I can just grab a bag as we head out the door and I know that Tobin and I will both get our servings of fruit, have a healthy snack, and best of all...we will enjoy it!
