With Tobin turning 2 next month, I have been starting to think about potty training. Now, I know boys are usually late potty trainers, but I can have high hopes and at least start introducing Tobin to a potty chair! So as I started to trying to figure out what potty chair to get, I decided to go to the one company I know that I can trust and that is Kolcraft.

Tobin was excited when he saw Elmo because he LOVES Elmo. Unfortunately, he had no idea what the chair was for. I tried to explain it and he would sit on it, but he thought the whole in the center was for his feet. So we have a ways to go, but I know once Tobin is ready to be potty trained, the Elmo Potty Chair will be a lot of help with potty training. Tobin loves high fiving Elmo and there is an off switch which does come in handy after the hundredth high five! I think that's a great feature that will get kids excited about potty training. The stickers were also a hit with Tobin, but I did have to hide them because he loves stickers and I want to use them once we really start potty training.

I love products that have more than one feature, so when I learned that the potty chair also turns into a step stool, I was thrilled! Since Tobin isn't ready to be potty trained yet, we have been using the foot stool feature and it has been so handy to have. I didn't realize that having a foot stool would make Tobin so excited to brush his teeth! Now that he can reach the sink and see himself in the mirror, he loves brushing his teeth!
