When I read this, I just knew that the Strider PREbike would be perfect for Tobin and I was thrilled when they agreed to participate in the Birthday Bash.

When the bike arrived, I was excited to see that it didn't come in too many parts and it even included the wrench you need to use to tighten everything. I was going to wait until my husband came home from work and let him put it together, but Tobin was so excited and he kept bringing the parts over to me to "fix". So, I decided to give it a try and I was surprised at how easy it was to put together. Once it was all built, Tobin was so excited to ride it. He got on and he was able to ride it for about 30 seconds before he started to lose control. Still, as you can see, he was so happy riding his Strider PREbike!

For the first week, I would just walk with Tobin while he rode the bike and help him balance it. By the end of the week he had complete confidence and could cruise on the bike by himself. The bike only weighs 7 lbs. so it's very light and easy for toddlers to maneuver.

Everyone is so surprised to see Tobin on this bike. He seems so little, but he can cruise on the Strider. I know that he will definitely be able to ride a regular bike a lot sooner than other kids his age. Maybe he will be able to by his 3rd birthday, or even sooner! The Strider website says that their first tester, after 6 months of riding the Strider, was able to ride a pedal bike without training wheels by the age of 3! So it is definitely possible!

I love that the seat and handle bars are adjustable and Tobin can grow with the bike. This is something we can use for many years and we can use it with all our kids. The Strider PREbike comes in Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red and Pink.
