Peaceable Kingdom Press Review & Giveaway **CLOSED**

Now that Tobin is at the age where he wants to do activities and he's at a great age for teaching, I like to provide him with educational toys. So, I am always on the look out for companies that can provide fun but educational toys and activities. Recently I discovered a company that offers just that and much more and it's called Peaceable Kingdom Press.

Peaceable Kingdom Press was started in 1983 by Olivia and Thacher Hurd. Thacher is the son of renowned children’s book artist Clement Hurd who illustrated the classic picture books Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny. One day, Clement made a painting based on the art from Goodnight Moon and asked Olivia and Thacher if they wanted to sell it as a poster. They printed 1,000 posters, sold it to stores in Berkeley, CA and the next thing you know, a company was born.

Over the years, we have added hundreds of new products that feature the art from renowned children’s book illustrators. We now work with more than 100 artists and our product offerings include birthday cards, games, stickers, paper dolls, puzzles, diaries, and valentines. All of our products have one thing in common – they nourish children’s hearts, eyes, minds, and funny bones!

I was so excited when I had the opportunity to review two of their reusable sticker packs. We got to review the Letters & Numbers Sticker Pack and the Shapes & Colors Sticker Pack. The recommended age is 3 and up, but Tobin is a bit advanced when it comes to things like this, so I was sure he would love it. I was not wrong, he loves them! There are small parts though and these may be a bit complicated for some kids under 3. It is meant to be a solo activity, but since Tobin is a bit young for them, I am always with him when he plays with them.

The stickers come off and go on easily to the boards. These are the perfect on-the-go activity and they come in a carry along tote. There are many sticker packs to choose from, but I really love the Letter & Numbers and the Shapes & Color Sticker Packs because they are great teaching tools. The colors are bright and the pictures are a lot of fun. Not only is Tobin learning his colors, shapes, letters, and numbers, but he's also learning a lot more words from playing with this.

Tobin plays with these several times each day and we took them to church and when we went out to eat as well and I really loved how easy they were to travel with. I would highly recommend these sticker packs and I can't wait to purchase more!
