Holiday Gift Guide: Just Kids Gifts Personalized Book Review & Giveaway

It's one of our Christmas traditions to give Tobin a book for Christmas each year. I love searching for the perfect book for him that is personal and special. I think one of the best gifts to give and receive are personalized gifts. I was thrilled when I discovered personalized books from Just Kids Gifts.

 

Just Kids Gifts has a variety of great personalized products. Besides books, they also sell children's personalized music CD's, personalized photo DVD's, and personalized DVD's for children. I love the fact that the owners of Just Kids Gifts are parents of an 18 month old child so they definitely understand children and what kids like.

I love all the great personalized products that they have to offer, but my favorite is their large selection of personalized children's books. There seems to be something for every child's interest. I love the selection of Christmas and holiday books as well. Here are just a few of my favorites:

I love how you can actually read the book BEFORE you even buy it! Not many places allow you that opportunity. So you already know what to expect before you even purchase it. I was thrilled when we were sent a personalized book called The Train with No Name to review.

Tobin absolutely loves trains, so I knew this was the perfect book for him. It was so easy to personalize the book too. When you order the book, you just fill out all the information they need such as your child's name, age, who it's from, date, friend's names, etc. I love how the front page of the book has the dedication of the book to your child, here's what ours looks like:

Tobin was so excited when his book arrived because he could already tell from looking at the picture that it was about trains. He immediately started looking at it and all the pictures. He loved it!

After he finished looking at it, then I read it to him. He thought it was so cool that his name was in it and his name was on pretty much every page. He also thought it was so much fun that his cousin's names were in the book too! He listened intently to the entire book and then wanted me to read it again and again. I think having his name throughout the book not only made it special, but it also made Tobin very interested in the book.

I liked that the book had pictures on every page and the writing on each page wasn't too long. This way your child does not lose interest. The story itself was great and I loved the lesson it taught, that you don't need to be big to be important. The price of the book is $16.95 which I think is a great price for such a wonderful and thoughtful book. We loved our book and I think any of the Just Kids Gifts products would make great gifts for special occasions as well as the holidays.
