DownEast & Modbe Swimsuit Review & Giveaway

I have already been switching my coat for a jacket because the weather has definitely been warming up. That means that swimsuit season is almost upon us and now is the time to start shopping for a new swimsuit. I find that I have a much better selection and it's a lot easier to shop for swimsuits online. This year, you definitely want to shop for swimsuits from DownEast Basics and their DownEast Swim and Modbe Swim Line.

DownEast Swim and Modbe have a variety of great mix-n-match swimsuits in great styles and colorful prints. I love how affordable and cute these great swimsuits are. The fabric is high quality and I love the variety of styles.

I was sent the Sausalito Halter and Skipper Skirt to review. Since I am pregnant right now and by the time swimsuit season hits I will not exactly be flaunting my body, so I chose this swimsuit so that it would cover the areas I want to stay hidden. This suit will not only cover my flaws, but will also enhance my good features. I love the halter style and it will accentuate my arms which I'm sure will be toned from carrying around 2 kids! The A-line tankini is long so it fully covers my stomach (and stretch marks) so I can feel comfortable that the parts I want to keep hidden will stay that way.

I love this great looking swimsuit and I like how I can mix and match. I was a little surprised about the color of this swimsuit though. I thought it was going to be more pink and maroon and instead it was more of a peach to almost burnt orange color. It's still very cute, I was just a little surprised on the color. So just remember that sometimes the color looks different on the screen than the actual product. I still love it though and I think it will really highlight my tan this summer.

The skipper skirt is great and it's a little longer in the back so it gives you a little more coverage which I love. The skirt is just a skirt and does not have a built-in swim bottom, so you will still need to wear a swimsuit bottom underneath. The Capitola Bikini would make a great choice!
