Learning Resources New Sprouts™ Picnic Set Review & Giveaway

It's a new year and that means some great new products from Learning Resources! As you all know, Learning Resources is one of my favorite places to shop for quality educational toys. I was so excited to get a look at all the new 2013 products. There are so many great new products and educational toys to choose from. I was thrilled when we were sent one of their new products which was the New Sprouts™ Picnic Set.

Tobin loves to play pretend and I think it's important for kids to have plenty of opportunities to explore and expand their imaginations. Dramatic play is a great way for kids to play pretend and let their imaginations come to life. The New Sprouts™ Picnic Set is a great product for dramatic play.

The New Sprouts™ Picnic Set includes a durable plastic basket, 2 divided plates, 2 mini-hamburgers (buns and patties), 2 watermelon wedges, 2 cupcakes, and ketchup and mustard bottles that "squirt". I love how everything fits perfectly in the basket so it's easy to store all the food together.

Tobin loves to have picnics and since it's winter we haven't gone on any picnics for a long time. So he was thrilled when he saw his new picnic set. The play food and basket are very durable and I like that they are chunky so even Noah could play with us. The picnic set is recommended for 2-6 year olds, so Noah is a little young for it so I kept a close eye on him while he played with us even though there aren't any small parts.

We took out our picnic blanket and put it on the floor so it felt like a real picnic. It was so much fun playing with my boys and Tobin's favorite part was the ketchup and mustard bottles that "squirted". It's actually string that shoots out when you squeeze and you can easily push it back into the bottle after it is squirted out.

We are thrilled with the New Sprouts™ Picnic Set and priced at $24.99, this would make a great gift for little ones. We highly recommend you check it out.
