Nothing compares to an unexpected card and handwritten note in the mail. That's why Hallmark is bringing back the Get Carded Challenge - a fun challenge designed to help you connect and reconnect with loved ones. I was so excited when I had the opportunity to take part in the challenge. I was sent free of charge a variety of Hallmark cards and enough stamps to send out one card each day for seven days.
I decided to send a few to close friends and family who live out of state, a few friends who I have been out of touch with and wanted to reconnect, and then a few other family members who I knew were struggling since a recent death in our family. I collected all their addresses and for seven days I sent one card a day (well, Saturday I sent 2 since no mail goes out on Sunday).
This challenge has shown me how much a simple card can mean to someone. I have decided that I am not going to stop here with this challenge. Throughout the year I plan to pick someone once or twice a month and send them a card or letter. Hallmark has a great variety of cards for all personalities, occasions, and for every budget. Visit Hallmark.com and use the code BLOG30 to receive 30% off on cards throughout the year. So I now challenge you to take upon yourself this fun challenge. Send a card or letter (or send several) and see the results, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the reactions.
WIN IT: One LUCKY U.S. winner will receive a variety of Hallmark cards so you can do your own challenge.
